When and how did you start out?
Started skating back in 1996 when I was 7 years young, my neighbor introduced me to skateboarding and I borrowed his and started to “crawl” around on the ground. I tried football once but after my first practice I thought that I already knew how to play so I never went back. Skateboarding is more than something you do, you go out and just pushing around for a whole day with your friends and having fun. All other “sports” is more about winning and be the best, a schedule and stuff like that to follow and that didn’t fit me. I really like the simpleness and freedom of skateboarding. Skateboarding is just about having fun and you don’t have to be the best to have most fun! That’s why I got hooked for life!
There so many good memories, can’t really pick one. Every time you keep struggling with a trick and you just wanna quit but your brain and love for skateboarding just pushes and forcing you to keep going and then straight out of nowhere you just got the trick, that’s the best memories and feelings. Rolling away with a big smile and full of adrenaline.
What do you do in your spare time?
I’m a father of two wonderful kids so when I’m not working or skating I’m just playing and fooling around with them and my lovely family! I also got a new found love for photography.
For the time I really like Caldeirada. It’s a Portuguese seafood and fish dish.
